Muffin Break unveils new and improved toastie flavours and packaging

Artisan bakery Muffin Break has further expanded its menu with a selection of premium toasties, as well as improving its packaging for the new range.

Muffin Break has researched new ingredients for its toasties to enhance the flavour experience such as a mature cheddar cheese and a premium Wiltshire ham. The superior toasties will be available in UK stores from October.

Now made with granary seeded bread, the extra tasty toasties will be available in seven flavours including: Mature Cheddar Cheese and Plum Tomato (RRP £3.70); Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato (RRP £3.85); Chicken, Bacon and Mature Cheddar (RRP £3.90); Chicken, Pesto and Mozzarella (RRP £3.90); Wiltshire Ham and Mature Cheddar (RRP £3.85); Tuna Melt (RRP £3.80) and Mature Cheddar and Balsamic Red Onion (RRP £3.70).

The improved packaging is designed to keep the toasties warmer for even longer when taking away, just in time for the winter season. The new look and feel also highlights the premium edge of the range. Customer engagement will also be encouraged through in-store marketing activity that asks

customers to post a photo of themselves on social media with the chance to win free toastie vouchers each week.

Muffin Break’s Marketing Manager, Gemma Sandells, comments: “Our passion lies in creating food options to excite our customers and we make everything in-store, everyday from scratch. Our new toasties are the result of further recipe improvements and we have sourced new bread, cheese, ham, chutneys and improved our packaging to further demonstrate the premium feel of the range. We are confident our customers will be excited to try them.”

Muffin Break is part of a growing series of local franchisee owned artisan bakery cafes, which bake a wide range of fresh food options on site daily, all made from fresh ingredients. Muffin Break stores serve favourite food options such as sandwiches, wraps, paninis, baguettes and a sweet selection. Stores also provide a wide range of cold drinks, as well as its bespoke coffee blend, which is made from 100% Arabica beans.
