Muffin Break brings back the Duffin with fresh flavours

Following customer demand, national artisan bakery Muffin Break has reintroduced its original Muffin Lab creation the ‘Duffin’, which is now available in three flavours.
The ‘Duffin’ is a clever hybrid of a muffin and a doughnut and is back on Muffin Break’s menu this summer. The original ‘Duffin’ was previously available in hazelnut chocolate flavour, however after proving popular with customers, the artisan bakery has now launched two new quirky flavour combinations to accompany the original – berry jam and custard cream. The ‘Duffin’ selection is available from now until 5th September and retails at £2.30.
The unique creation was the first to be released by the Muffin Lab in conjunction with its launch in January 2016. Every month since then the Muffin Lab has released a bold new creation, for a limited time only, to excite and intrigue customers. Like all of Muffin Break’s offering, the Muffin Lab’s experimental creations are freshly baked in-store, every morning, using premium ingredients.

Muffin Break Marketing Manager, Gemma Sandells, comments: “Our Muffin Lab product range has triumphed with customers. We believe this is because the range offers a fresh fusion of flavours that customers haven’t experienced anywhere else on the high-street, with the ‘Duffin’ in particular standing out. This has also reflected in our sales, as latest reports have shown a sales increase of 28% in the first four months since the Muffin Lab launched, compared to the same period last year.
“We feel that this shows that customers are looking for different tastes and our Muffin Lab will continue to provide more experimental creations throughout the year.”
