Is there a standardised procedure that I am required to follow in the running of my cafe?

Yes, however the procedures are simple. Our systems for diversified matters such as reporting, insurance, accounting practices, purchasing, hiring and training new staff, cost control, advertising, merchandising and other essential functions contribute to the efficient operation of your cafe.

Do I need experience to run a Muffin Break cafe?

Previous experience within the food industry is not a necessity, however basic management capabilities are required for any retail venture. We look for franchisees who possess the qualities outlined in our Franchise brochure.

What results can I expect?

It is essential for franchisees to obtain competent legal advice before entering into the franchise documentation. We also recommend that franchisees retain the services of a competent accountant.

Where do I purchase my supplies?

We have established relationships with suppliers who will deliver directly to your store. Prices are negotiated on group buying power.

What happens at the end of the ten year franchise term?

Dependent on the lease terms of the cafe and you meeting certain requirements, we can then discuss the possibility of renewing the lease.

Can I sell my franchise?

Yes. Should you wish to sell your Muffin Break cafe business we will be able to advise on the best way of doing so.

How long does the franchise process typically take from signing the franchise agreement to opening the store?

Typically, this will take up to 3-4 months if we have a suitable site available and all legals are in place.
